Introduction

College of Letters and Cultural Heritage
Our College is at the forefront of innovation in Taiwan, offering pioneering programs in cultural heritage research, museum studies, and conservation and restoration. While we remain committed to enhancing our teaching resources and improving the quality of instruction, we also aim to increase international recognition. Recognizing the shortage of professional expertise in domestic cultural development, our college aspires to integrate our years of accumulated teaching resources and experience and align them with the nation's needs to train relevant personnel. Additionally, we're developing comprehensive pathways for professionals to continue their education while working, solidifying our role as a central institution for the cultivation and training of cultural heritage specialists. Our name, the College of Letters and Cultural Heritage reflects our commitment to developing specialized professionals in Taiwan in the areas of art history, cultural artifact research, museum studies, and conservation.

Ken, Feng Ying Professor

Ken, Feng Ying

Ken, Feng Ying is a Professor of the Tainan National University of the Arts and Director of its Graduate Institute of Conservation of Cultural Relics and Museology. Prof. Feng-Ying Ken specializes in museum exhibition, design and creative industry and teaches in museum studies program for more than two decades. She has the training of both practice and theories on exhibitions and design.

After receiving her Ph.D. in Chiba University in Japan and she focuses her research on visual communication and design, museum exhibitions, space planning and environmental design, as well as creative industry. She also published a number of research papers in periodicals in Taiwan and abroad, including in Museology Quarterly, Technology Museum Review, Bulletin of the National Museum of History, majorly in Taiwan. Education Background:
Ph.D. in Natural Science Study, June 2002, National Chiba University, Japan (Specializing in Science Design).
